Precautions for using the instrument
When using, the handheld centrifuge should be placed in a horizontal position, the voltage of the external power supply should match the instrument, and a good grounding wire is required. Do not pile up debris around the instrument, leave at least 10cm of space for the instrument to dissipate heat.
2. Before starting up, check whether the rotating head of the handheld centrifuge is securely installed and whether there are any foreign objects falling into the machine cavity. Check if the anchor bolts, drum, V-belt, and braking device are intact and functioning properly.
3. The sample should be pre balanced, and when using a centrifuge tube, both the centrifuge tube and the sample should be balanced simultaneously. Not only do we need to ensure the equal weight balance of the sample, but we also need to consider the balance between density and volume. Because the torque generated during centrifugation is not only related to the type of sample, but also to the selection radius of the sample. If the centrifuge is started under unbalanced load, it may damage the equipment and even harm the operator.
When centrifuging volatile or corrosive liquids, a covered centrifuge tube should be used to avoid liquid leakage, damage to the instrument, or danger.
5. Avoid using non-standard test tubes to insert into the centrifuge rotor.
Do not operate the equipment when the top cover of the centrifuge is open. After centrifugation is completed, wait for the instrument to completely stop rotating before opening the top cover. If there is any abnormality during the operation of the centrifugal machine, the power should be immediately turned off and technical personnel should be reported for repair.
7. The typical usage time of a handheld centrifuge is 1-2 minutes, and experimenters should take care of it throughout the entire process and not leave to avoid accidents.
8. The handheld centrifuge should be cleaned promptly after use, and the action of wiping the machine cavity should be gentle to prevent damage to the temperature sensor.
9. The centrifuge should be placed at a dry room temperature, avoiding direct sunlight, drastic temperature changes, and being waterproof and moisture-proof.
